Matters of the Mind: Addressing Cognitive Aspects of Bipolar
Disorder is a live CME teleconference
series led by the world-renowned psychiatrist Frederick
K. Goodwin, MD.
Dr. Goodwin will review the cognitive deficits associated
with bipolar disorder, highlighting their impact on
functional outcomes, and will explore the possible
cognitive effects of available and emerging therapies.
The teleconference will conclude with a 30-minute,
live, interactive question and answer session.

Each teleconference will consist of a 45-minute presentation
followed by a 30-minute interactive question and answer
session with Dr. Goodwin. There is NO FEE for participating
in this activity.
Each registrant may download a copy of the activity workbook
on the bottom of this page. Registrants may request
a printed workbook if unable to download.

Audience
The target audience for this activity is practicing psychiatrists
and other clinicians who are actively involved in
the management of patients with bipolar disorder.

Upon completion of this course, the participants should be able to:

dysfunction specific to bipolar disorder
- Recognize the impact of cognitive
deficits on functional outcomes in bipolar disorder
- Evaluate data on cognitive effects
