The
Center for Medical Knowledge is committed to evaluating
and measuring the impact of our CME programs through qualitative
and quantitative methods. All offerings are intended to
augment physician
and other healthcare professionals' training by raising
awareness, enhancing knowledge and skills,
and improving the practice behaviors that will eventually
affect patient health outcomes.
Measurements of success include:
- Evaluating
the number of medical professionals reached each year
- Assessing
pre- and postactivity evaluation tools from the medical
professionals (faculty, consultants, and participants)
who are associated with our programs, to determine effectiveness
in the following areas:
1. Increasing knowledge;
2. Practice improvement;
3. Physician attitude change;
4. Needs assessment;
5. Participant satisfaction.
- Developing
successful relationships with cosponsors and commercial
supporters to ensure continued and future support
These
results can be measured, and status reports will be discussed
regularly at Executive Committee Quarterly Business Meetings
and CME consultant meetings. |
